Senior Meals

 

The Sevier County Office on Aging offers mobile meals to homebound seniors over 60 years of age on a sliding scale based on the individual’s income. 
Very low-income seniors may receive their meals at no charge.

Food/Nutrition Workshops

 

UT Extension seeks to address everyday issues facing families, and provide help through education. Through research-based information, UT Extension provides programs/resources on topics relating to nutrition, physical and mental health, agriculture, gardening, food preservation, family, and money management. Free classes on Meal Planning, Cooking, Stretching Food Dollars, and Healthy Choices are available to individuals receiving government food assistance, such as SNAP benefits. (healthyfamilies.tennessee.edu)
