ESSER 3.0 - Needs Assessment and Meaningful Stakeholder Engagement
ESSER 3.0 Foundations: Technology, Other, Auditing & Reporting. Technology includes Chromebooks, desktops, laptops, webcams, document cameras, projection systems ($4,449,694), and high-speed internet cabling ($320,000). Other includes 16 new school buses ($1,500,000) and trash compacting dumpsters ($262,440.10). Auditing & Reporting includes ESER and Learning Loss Coordinators for 3 years ($247,887.24).
ESSER 3.0 Learning Loss: Personnel (2021-22 & 2022-23) and Interventions. Personnel includes 64 full-time teachers ($9,231,726.08), 5 system-level learning loss instructional coaches ($789,410.96), 4 Mental Health Therapists ($521,649.47), Summer School/tutoring ($348,748.67), and Hybrid Curriculum & Content Review ($384,517). Interventions include Early Reading Phonics (Gr K-2) - $239,100, ELA Intervention (Gr 3-8) - $180,000, Math Intervention (Gr 2-8) - $180,000, Math Intervention (Gr 7-12) - $18,000, New credits/credit recovery - $250,000, English Language interventions - $101,472, SPED interventions (pre-K-12) - $62,000.
ESSER 3.0 High-Quality Instructional Materials: Early Literacy, Mathematics, Hybrid Content. Early Literacy includes Really Great Reading phonics program ($239,100). Mathematics includes new math adoption for 2023-24 ($2,061,948). Hybrid Content includes hybrid content for ELA, math, science, and social studies for in-person, digital, or hybrid teaching and learning ($384,517).
ESSER 3.0 Student Readiness: Mental Health, Special Populations, AP/Dual Credit/Academic Advising/Other, High School Innovations. Mental Health includes 4 Mental Health therapists ($521,649.47) and materials & professional development ($9,000). Special Populations includes Pre-K SPED intervention ($22,000), K-12 SPED interventions ($40,000), and English Learner interventions ($101,472). AP/Dual Credit/Academic Advising/Other includes AP Testing ($200,000), Pre-ACT testing ($80,000), Benchmark testing (K-8) ($400,000), and new credit/credit recovery ($250,000). High School Innovations includes Personal Finance curriculum ($53,077.77) and Keys to Literacy (7-12) professional development ($30,359.25).
